Beginning Saturday, July 16, 9:00 AM - Postcards From San Diego

Have you been on a vacation and wanted to capture a unique and creative photo of a famous location? Join us on a photo-walk as we visit some iconic locations around San Diego, explore some photography techniques, and be inspired by each other as we re-discover these familiar locations. At the end of the summer, we will meet together and share our favorite shots with each other. Our meeting times will vary to allow learning about night photography and the golden hour. Why photo-walks? Photo-walks provide the opportunity of more than one perspective on a scene. Each person will invariably have a unique take on the scene and you will be amazed at the variety of photos that are captured. Bring your camera, instruction manual if needed, and your creativity!

Photo-Walks scheduled:

  • Balboa Park: July 16 @ 9am, meet at the fountain by the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center
  • Downtown waterfront (night photograph): July 30th @ 8pm. meet on the boardwalk aft of the USS Midway
  • La Jolla Cove (golden hour): August 13th @ 6pm. Meet next to the Bridge Club
  • Picture share: August 20th @ 9am at Faith Community to share our summer pics!

Seminar Leader: Mark Eutizi began his photography hobby soon after his daughter was born. After upgrading to a Digital SLR and realizing he had no idea how to use it,  Mark enrolled in a local class and his passion for photography ignited. He quickly realized that, even though he never considered himself a creative person, photography allowed him a chance to discover his creativity by envisioning what he wanted to capture and then figuring out how to make it happen.  He has led the Photo-Walks in the past, and has been an exhibitor in the Del Mar Fair Photo Exhibition.
