This one day seminar is a chance for parents (and would be parents) of teens. During this seminar you will discover how you can communicate and connect in a fun and productive environment. Parents of teens and those just wanting to learn more about communicating with teens are invited to join us. Are your kids in 5th or 6th grade? This is for you too...the teenage years are just around the corner!

About the Presenter: Pastor Greg Niemeyer has over 35 years invested in youth in serving as a youth pastor, district youth pastor for the Foursquare denomination and youth camps. His heart and call to youth allows him to bring unique and powerful perspectives.

Join us this Saturday night @ 6 PM and Sunday morning @ 10 AM for worship, prayer, and a message by Pastor Mark Slomka.

Saturday night plan to stick around after the service to join us for the Freeway Cafe - a chance to hang out, enjoy a delicious meal and great company. The cost for dinner is $5 for adults and $2 for children under 12 years.

Sunday morning we invite you to join us in the courtyard after the service to enjoy bagels, coffee and good company.

Nursery Care and Children's Programs will be available for newborns through 6th grade during our Saturday evening and Sunday morning services.

Youth Sunday School is available for 7th - 12th grade on Sunday mornings. Youth will meet in the main Worship Center and be dismissed to their class after worship.

Make a difference – join us as we build a home for a family in Ensenada, Mx. We’ll depart San Diego early Friday morning (Oct. 24) and return Sunday late afternoon (Oct. 26). Congratulations to the 11 Faith Community School students who gathered at 6:30 Tuesday morning to participate in Kid’s Day by selling Special Edition newspapers to help support Rady’s Children’s Hospital. During this first event in our Kids Helping Kids program, Faith students sold 128 newspapers and received $85.00 in donations. WAY TO GO FAITH!

You are invited to join Pastor Mark following our Sunday morning worship gathering on October 19 in the Fellowship Center for a free lunch and introduction to Faith Community. There will be opportunity to ask questions, meet new people, and visit together around three basic themes:

- who is Faith Community?
- who is here to serve you?
- how can I plug in?

There is no program for kids but you are free to bring your children... they are an essential part of our community too!

Faith Community School 4th graders are hosting their 3rd Annual Spaghetti Dinner.

Proceeds go toward their Sacramento/San Francisco field trip.

Thursday, October 23rd at the Fellowship Center  

5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

All you can eat Spaghetti & Meatballs, Salad, Bread and Beverage

Adults - $5.00
Children 4 and under - $3.00
Dessert - $1.00
 

We would like to say "Thank You" again this Thanksgiving to the military families who are a part of Faith Community Church and School for the service and sacrifices they make on our behalf.  Our Girl Scout troop from the school will again bake homemade bread for each of our families.  You can take part by providing items or funding for the baskets.  The items we need are Gift Cards, $10 or $15, to McDonalds, Starbucks, Cold Stone, Blockbuster, Vons, Safeway or Ralphs, or movies passes to a local theater.  Other items: bags of microwave popcorn, bags of Hershey Kisses, boxes or bags of Raisenettes, Skittles or M & M's, boxes of stuffing, cans of cranberry sauce, olives, chicken broth or boxes of cocoa packets.  You may drop off the items at the office any weekday, or there will be a basket in the Lobby during our weekend services, on or before November 10th.  Thank you for your help to bless and thank those who give so much for us.

All children, ages 5-14 are invited to join this year's Christmas Musical cast. If your child would like to participate in any capacity, it is important they check in with us on Sunday.  October rehearsals are from 12:00 -1:00pm and in November, 4:00-6:00pm.  We will be looking for feedback as to the performance dates. Currently they are scheduled to be Dec. 13 & 14th, but we may change those based on your feedback. We hope you'll join us!
