Worship is the center of our life together at FCC (Faith Community Church)!

Seasons of Praise Chorale (SoPC) presents music to our congregation at different times throughout the year. Each season is a wonderful opportunity for you to join others in worship through choral music...and an opportunity to lead others into worship. We delight in serving together as a multi-generational, multi-cultural group to bring God's people before Him through song.

Singers and musicians are welcome (see below). Meet new friends; work on your choral or musical skills; join our group for a season and see how you will grow!

Our leader is Dr. Kim Bogan, who also directs the Worship Team at FCC and the Voices in Praise gospel choir at Point Loma Nazarene University. Dr. Kim's musical skill, love for worship, and heart for God's people create a joyful work. But bring your energy - as fun as it is, she makes us work hard!

Details: Singers do not need prior choral experience; there are no auditions; rehearsal is mandatory. Use of a personal recording device during rehearsal is strongly encouraged. Kim's famous phrase: "If you can talk, you can sing!"

Musicians are welcome. Rehearsal is mandatory and basic musicianship is required to play in the band.

Recommended Age: Jr. High School and up.

Requirements: Weekly rehearsals about 6 weeks in advance of a ministry event

This group does not meet during the summer.
