Romans 6:4 tells us that “we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in the newness of life,” and in Romans 8:11 we hear that the “Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you.”

This class, which meets Sunday mornings from 8:30 - 9:30 in the Faith Community Youth Room, explores what it means to be risen with Jesus, and how we can walk in the same resurrecting and transforming presence and power—the newness of life—that raised Christ from the dead. The class is shaped so that short presentations will be combined with discussions and in-class exercises, the focus being on discovering and then applying of real solutions to real challenges in a Christian’s daily life.
