Nursery and Toddlers

Infant care is lovingly provided in our nurseries for newborns through age 2 1/2. The nursery is where we meet the needs of the youngest in our church family. Our time with these little ones is spent singing songs, engaging them in play, and teaching simple lessons about Jesus and His love for them.

People You Should Meet: Rosa Santiago-Deppa, Nursery Coordinator

We want you to know that we consider it an honor and privilege to care for your child each week and we will never take the responsibility lightly. All nursery staff members have received background checks and training to care for these little ones in a safe and nurturing way.  We make sure all toys are cleaned weekly and there are even extra diapers in both the Men's and Women's bathrooms!

seeks to extend, expand and enhance the impact made though our Homes of Hope building missions by continuing to work with churches in the community where we have been building in recent years. If you enjoy working with folks in Mexico, extending our mission outreach and helping small poor churches succeed in their missions and ministries, then this group is right for you. We typically do 3-4 projects a year of various kinds, including building/repair, teaching, and general assistance.

Manos de Dios

The mission of our group is to share God's love by providing services as gifts of love so that others will see that God is kind, gracious and caring. On various Saturdays we respond in groups to work requests from our neighbors around Faith Community to help clean yards, move boxes, do minor repairs, trim trees, unload groceries, do laundry, etc. Adults and teenagers (13 years and up) are welcome to join in the fun of serving as we seek to follow, love and serve well. "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'" - Matthew 25:40

Here at MOPS, we are on a mission to celebrate motherhood.

We build circles of women who love each other like family, because raising humans is beautiful and hard, and having each other to lean on is life-giving. That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own cities, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of being a mom.

This is motherhood, and together we can change the world in all the best ways.

What does a MOPS gathering look like?

We meet weekly on Wednesdays form 9:30-11:30. There are about 50 women in our group; every mom has a table of about 8 women that they sit with each week so you have the chance to get to build great friendships. These tables all have a Mentor Mom, a mom with grown kids, who is there to be a listening ear and support to you in this amazing season of life. Each table of women takes turns bringing brunch to share with the other tables, your table will bring brunch only once or twice a semester, all the other weeks you get a fabulous brunch that you didn't have to cook or clean up after! After brunch we have time either having an activity and craft, or hearing from a guest speaker. Some of the topics that our guest speakers cover range from parenting and marriage, finances and health, self-care, friendship and many other topics relevant to your mommy life.

Our main goal in our weekly gathering is for you to find support, encouragement and friendship with other moms as you face the challenges and joys of motherhood together - you don't have to do this alone!

SOZO.jpg

SOZO is the Greek word translated “saved, healed, delivered.” Sozo ministry is a unique inner healing ministry aimed to address and deliver one from the root of things hindering (blocking) your personal connection with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. With a healed connection, you can walk in the destiny to which you have been called.

A Sozo session is a time for the Sozo team to sit down with you and with the help of the Holy Spirit walk you through the process of freedom and wholeness. Sozo is not a counseling session but a time of interacting with Father, Son and Holy Spirit for wholeness and pursuing of your destiny.

SOZO is pastoral and prophetic ministry that utilizes “listening prayer” as the vehicle to hear from the Lord regarding unhealthy patterns, addictions, sins, strongholds/paradigms, and roots of beliefs that keep us in bondage rather than freedom. We pray that this will be an encounter with Jesus, Father God and Holy Spirit (Godhead) that is relational and dynamic. SOZO is NOT a formula but a discovery with the leading of the Holy Spirit.

SOZO ministry is for people who want to receive ministry as well as for those who have a heart to see and want to help people be set free from emotional and spiritual bondage. SOZO ministry is every 2nd and 4th Monday at 6:45-8:45 pm at Faith Community Church San Diego.

For more information please contact Stan Donn or Rich Swanson.

To schedule a SOZO appointment please send us an email..
