Consider again, Paul’s bold statement in Romans 8.1: “Therefore, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus”. This statement is either true or it is false. It is either a revelation of God’s love and grace or a reckless statement disconnected from reality. If untrue, it has not practical benefit whatsoever. As Robert Ingersoll observed: "If a man would follow, today, the teachings of the Old Testament, he would be a criminal. If he would follow strictly the teachings of the New, he would be insane.”
But if this statement is true, then this declaration reveals a powerful and wonderful truth: God has decided to exercise His omnipotence on behalf of His grace.
