Dotty Carter, School Principal

Dotty begins her 36th year at Faith. During those years, she has been a Teacher's Aide, taught K, 1/2 combo, 2nd, 5th, 6th, and 7th grades, been Vice Principal, and this will be her 11th year as Principal. She enjoys talking and praying with Faith students and their parents. Her interests include spending time with family and friends, movies, traveling, and reading. Dotty especially enjoys being 'Oma' to her nine grandchildren. She is involved in several activities at Faith Community Church. She knows God takes a special interest in Faith Community Christian School because it is, and always has been, His school. Dotty is looking forward to a year of enjoying the way God demonstrates to us that Nothing is Impossible with Him.

Mrs. Allison Rowe, KINDERGARTEN TEACHER

This is Mrs. Rowe's fourth year at Faith Community Christian School. She feels blessed to be able to combine her two greatest passions: God and teaching. She looks forward to watching her students blossom spiritually, academically, and socially this year in Kindergarten. She enjoys reading, going to the movies, traveling, and spending as much time as she can with her family and friends. Although they are both San Diego natives, she enjoys exploring San Diego with her husband, Nick.

This is Kristin's 11th year at Faith. She has taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades here. She feels blessed to have been at Faith for as long as she has and loves seeing her students grow spiritually and academically. Her interests include oceans, reading, traveling, music, and game and movie nights with friends.

Mrs. Natalie Moiseve, SECOND GRADE TEACHER

This is Natalie's second year teaching at Faith Community. She enjoys teaching her second graders all about the world God created. She wants to help each student find and polish his or her unique talents! Some of her other passions include gardening, camping, art, and spending time with her husband, Lee, and dog, Lexie. Natalie has a positive outlook for this year as she prepares to embark on this wonderful learning journey with her students.

Mrs. Jennifer Kellogg, THIRD GRADE TEACHER

This is Jen Kellogg's 2nd year teaching at Faith Community. She feels very blessed to be a part of the Faith family and looks forward to building strong relationships with her students and their families. She looks forward to serving the Lord and her students both in and out of the classroom. Mrs. Kellogg is dedicated to helping her students grow academically, spiritually, and socially. She enjoys spending time with her husband Matt and with her family and friends.The Lord has answered their prayers and has granted them with their first child due in November. Mrs. Kellogg enjoys photography, reading, baking, and outdoor activities.

This is Mrs. Johnson's fifth year teaching at Faith Community. She is very excited to continue her time here at Faith with the fourth grade class. Mrs. Johnson loves investing in her students and is looking forward to watching them grow both academically and spiritually. Her interests include spending time with her husband Jared, her new baby girl Lily, family and friends, traveling, and volunteering with junior high students.

Jana is looking forward to her second year of teaching at Faith Community. She loves to see her students take responsibility for their learning and to watch them grow in their faith in the Lord. Jana enjoys hiking, camping, studying God’s Word, and spending time with her husband of twenty-three years and their four children.

Judith will begin her 16th year at Faith. Her passion is studying God’s Word and mentoring. She enjoys reading, gardening, playing board games and spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband, Perry, are looking forward to becoming grandparents for the first and second time early next year. It is an exciting time as both of their son’s wives are expecting their first child in February!

Mrs. Kim Gibbons, PE COACH/COMPUTER TEACHER

This is Kim's second year at Faith. She is really excited to be back at Faith for another year of computers and P.E. She loves to see the students learn to play new sports and enjoy being active. She likes to jog, read, and spend as much time with her husband and four children as she can.

Mrs. Kaitlin Flemming, DAYCARE TEACHER

This is my second year at Faith Community Christian School and I am excited to see what God has in store for me here. I am a student at Azusa Pacific University and I hope to attain a teaching credential within the next few years. I like children of all ages and love seeing how God is working in their lives. I enjoy reading, painting, and going to Disneyland with my wonderful husband Andrew.

Rachel Binsfield, DAYCARE TEACHER

This is my second year at Faith Community Christian School. I enjoy reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. I am a junior at Point Loma Nazarene University as a Liberal Studies major and Psychology minor. I plan to become a elementary school teacher because I have a great passion and love for children. I believe everything happens for a reason, and God has allowed me to return to Faith for a purpose. I look forward to making even more great memories.
