The Well Bookclub | Group Discussion

Our goal for The Well is to encourage and facilitate positive conversation amongst readers in addition to exposing them to the perspectives of others.  Our reading and community-wide reflecting will culminate in a hosted panel discussion.

This summer we are reading Love, Acceptance, and Forgiveness. How can the church be a healing force in the world? In this longtime bestseller, now revised and updated, authors Jerry Cook and Stanley C. Baldwin suggest that it is only when believers admit their own brokenness that they can love, accept, and forgive those who are hurting around them and put out the welcome mat to their community. They offer clear teaching about the church in a hurting world. As veteran leaders who practice these principles, they speak from experience, not theory.

We’ll be hosting a Discussion Group on 9/29 and a Panel Discussion on 10/13. Both will be hosted in the Youth Center

The Well Panel Discussion

Faith Community has been reading Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s book ‘Life Together’. As we’ve gone through this book we have been reflecting with friends and groups. Our reading and reflecting will now culminate in a hosted panel discussion on February 10th. The Panel will help us: facilitate positive conversation amongst readers, better engage the ideas we came across and expose us to the perspectives of others.

We want to plan well for our gathering on the 10th. Please let us know that you are interested in joining the discussion here. You can also write down any question for the panel on this form.

It’s not too late to join the discussion. To purchase Life Together click here
