First four Saturdays in August | REGISTER HERE
Whether celebrating a birthday, holiday, new baby, or just sending a note of thanks or encouragement, nothing is more meaningful and personal than a handmade card.
In this 4-week class you’ll learn the basics of cardmaking beginning with contrast and texture with paper layering, embellishments, and heat embossing. You’ll move on to die cutting, dry embossing, and making 3D embellishments. Increase creativity with easy watercoloring techniques, and ink blending backgrounds. Each class builds on the first basic class, so it’s important to attend the first class to move on. All papers, envelopes, embellishments, inks, and paints will be provided. Participants will be required to bring a basic craft tool kit to be used throughout the 4 classes. See tool kit list and class schedule on the back of this flyer.
COST FOR EACH CLASS: $10
Registration must be made NO LATER than the Sunday prior to each class. Fees are not refundable as products for craft kits will be purchased and assembled during the week before class. However, if a participant is unable to attend a paid class, they will be able to pick up a craft kit from the church office with instructions on card assembly after the class is completed.
PLEASE NOTE: These classes are not intended for children as we will be using products that are recommended for adults only. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is also participating in the class.
