In John Ch. 14, the disciples greatest point of despair, grief and confusion is the context for Jesus' promise to send the Holy Spirit. If the helper is who Jesus knew the disciples needed in their greatest point of need - don't we think that Jesus' gift of the Holy Spirit can meet us in our deepest points of need today?
